Getting There

Bus (St. Kevin's Bus)
A private bus service runs from Dublin city center (St. Stephen's Green North) directly to Glendalough.
Car
About 1 hour drive south of Dublin via the N11/M11. Parking is available at the Upper Lake (paid).

The Route

This is a strenuous hike involving a steep climb (over 600 wooden steps). Proper hiking gear and water are essential. Allow 3-4 hours.
